What's the name and location of generic dvd-rw driver?

Vista thinks that my dvd-rw is a disk drive. I was thinking that i could
uninstall the driver and then use the driver for the generic dvd-rw when i
reinstall.

the install script is C:\Windows\inf\cdrom.inf (used for cd, dvd, hd-dvd, and
blu-ray drives). the actual driver is C:\Windows\System32\cdrom.sys

I filed a bug report using the tools in the feedback and in a couple hours my
dvd-rw was working.

I think Microsoft might have fixed the problem.
