when is official release date of MSN messenger 6.0?

Hey, don't know the official release date, but I've
downloaded the Beta MSN Messenger 6 on about 7 machines
and haven't seen any problems from it. It's fun! Way
better than Windows Messenger!

I'd say give the preview a try (even just to try out), you can always uninstall it, or use
System Restore.

As for any 'specific' issue, there are some issues on Windows ME and 98/2000 in general (like
digital cameras being used a webcams instead of the actual webcam). None of these problems
exist while running on Windows XP.

Also, the "official" release should be in 2-3 weeks.

Well i am using MSN messenger 6 on My WindowsXP Pro OS, my OS is NTFS
formatted.

It Runs perfectly ok, until i try to go for a webcam session with my
brother or a friend, MSn messenger 6 grinds to a hault(freezes), and then i
click the 'x' button in the corner ot close it, MSN messenger is forced to

my brother uses Windows XP Pro on a FAT32 system, but he recently upgraded
to MSN messenger 6, same as me, and he is getting crashing problems too.

plus i think for this reason he stops me from viewing my webcam to him.

my webcam is l'espion Digital Dream camera, £29.99 it was, dunno if it is
Wndows XP compatible. Runs perfectly well in Yahoo messenger.
