Default When Uninstalling Programs Start Menu Shortcut Remains

On the occasions when I have uninstalled stuff I have noticed that the start
menu shortcut and the folder in "c\program files" remain and I have to
delete them manually. Is there any way to make this happen automatically?

Cheers.

Find better software that has a more functional installer.

A poorly written uninstall program. Unfortunately it happens all too often.
Nothing you can do about it.

not unless the author fixes it.
you might send them a message about it.
be aware that the start menu item is probably not the only items remaining.
most likely its install folder and lots of registry entries as well.
