As I recall, Rich, there are a couple DOS Star Trek games which need special
attention (but people have learned how to make them work), and the rest work
fine. Exactly which titles do you have, and have you tried Compatibility
Mode?

BTW - There is no need to go "back to factory settings" on your computer if
software is a problem. There are several ways to deal with issues like
uninstall of the program, updating the program from the game web site, or
even System Restore to use a Restore Point just prior to the installation.
