Where does drakconf system updater store downloaded rpms?

Posted: 11-23-2005, 11:50 PM
I've got broadband at work, but not at home. I'd like to be able to
copy updated rpms from my work machine and install them on my home
system, but I don't see where the Mandriva System Updater tool stores
these files (or any options in the app to select a location).

Are the downloaded rpms deleted after installation, or can I find them
and take them home?

Thanks,
Rob

Do you know about the manual pages? Type "man man" without
the quotes at the command line to read the manual pages about
the manual ("q" gets you out of it).

Man urpmi will give you information about the noclean option.
You should be able to find downloads in /var/cache/urpmi.

Another option is to start by downloading rpms and then
updating from your local repository.
