Where is Start up file?

In ai 6 there was a start up file, you set what palettes open etc. on start up. Does such a thing exist in ai 9? I can't find it. I particularly want to start up in inches with the pantone palette open.

Try editing the two startup files in the Plug-ins folder.

The plug-ins folder is in the Illustrator folder.
