Where's my recorder

I assume that you downloaded WMP9??? If you did, it
probably has something to do with digital rights
management & it simply won't let you do it. If you can
uninstall ver9 & reinstall ver8, then do it. If you have a
Creative labs Audigy sound card in your comp., you can do
what you want with Creative Sound Recorder. I personally
don't like media player. Seems to freeze from time to
time. I never upgrade anything anymore unless I really
need something thats in the upgrade. "if it ain't broke,
don't fix it"

Try Audacity. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
You can also use RealOne Player to record from the line-in jack.
