| When I try to open these folder, I am getting 'Access is denied' and when I look at setting, I am 'Owner' and have full access rights. And the culprits are: Application Data, Cookies, Local Settings, My Documents, Nethood, Printhood, Send to, Start Menu and Templates. I can't see the logic of restricting access to the user anyway. Anyone know why it is so and how can get access to them? I get the same if I log with 'Admin' rights. Thanks. | Guest

| Many of those folders are Pseudo,,, ones that are there for Program Compliance purposes like C:\Documents and Settings - there is nothing in the folder now. It is a Virtual Folder or Junction. http://www.devsource.com/article2/0,1895,1999637,00.asp http://www.realtime-vista.com/genera...uments_and.htm http://www.jimmah.com/vista/Security/junctions.aspx "Blue Arrow" <pravesh'rem this'@prasher.co.uk> wrote in message news:%23TsUFf%23xHHA.3696@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl...
