Why am I getting a green screen

When I try to view a .wmv file on a website. It used to work a while ago,
but I think ever since I downloaded wm11 it shows a green screen as it plays
but I can hear it just fine and if I save file as, it will then play in my
media player just fine. Thanks for the help.
