Why is Apple trying to make me install Safari on a WINDOWS COMPUTER? that does not make sense...

Think about if I had a MAC computer I would understand Safari but on a Windows Computer, I tried Safari and I love IE 7 better than Safari, I have itunes and it check for updates and safari comes as a update?
