Why does Microsoft's support suck so bad??

Can anyone help me?? Certainly Microsoft cannot. Bill
Gates can't afford to hire enough people to adequately
help the people that have the worm that is theiving in
the software HIS company created and protects.

I have been trying to install the "worm patch" and when
give the Wizard the go ahead, I get this message: Setup
could not verify the integrity of the Update.inf. Make
sure the cryptographic service is running on this
computer.

I have no security at the moment as I have gotten rid of
it all in an attempt to install the patch.

Any ideas?

1. Negativity seldom yields good results.
2. This newsgroup is about XP Embedded which may or may not be the
operating system you are using. Probably not.
3. Search google for "msblast" and I'm sure you'll find more info than you
ever wanted on the subject.

However, searching support.microsoft.com provides this similar issue linked
below, which has been successful for other users in the past that got the
same error but on other hotfixes:
