Why does my movie have black spots in it?

Look here for example. Just watch the whole thing. Why is there black gaps,
but the music is sill playing?

I viewed to 1min 17sec and as you've over dubbed
it is not discernable if the "video gap" causes an
audio/video sync issue?
Were the "black gaps" discernable on the original footage?
Or did the "gaps" occur during capture to PC?
Or have the "gaps" only manifested in the subsequent
produced file?

The original files do not have that problem at all. Only when I put them
together they do that.

And it first happens at 1:12. and ends at like 1:16-1:17.

Is there video footage missing where the black spaces are?
If so then it is possible that the clips that are missing somehow got
corrupted so they couldn't be rendered properly.
Another possibility is that there is a Title/Overlay in place there with
text that is black instead of white?
