why the free space change

really i face this problem from long time i have installed on my laptop dell
2 windows the primary in the c is windows xp professional and the other drive
i installed windows vista ultimate edition the space is different when i use
the vista and the xp when i'm in the xp the vista space is higer and when i
move to the vista the xp space is higer really i don't know what i do

this phenomenon may cased by system restore point , you can try to turn it
off, and have a check.
