Why thick Border?

I tried several times to select group of cells below D1 and then do a paste
in, went ok, but why always getting that dark thick bottom border?

I like the light grey lines you usually see in Excel files. Thanks.

Dear Kevs,

it looks like when you are dragging that cell downwards the bottom line
of that cell is already formatted as a thick line. Try to format the D1
as you want and each one of them will look alike. You can do this by
clicking the proper format button.

You might want to explore the options in Edit>Paste Special - not just in
Excel, but any of the Office programs. It seems like many of the issues you
post revolve around content copied from other sources & if you simply Paste
there's no telling what you might wind up with:)

Thanks Bob, did not understand that, just pasting from first cell no?
Fideleo:

I went to cell, border, and don't see an option anywhere to have the border
be like the light grey line of all the normal cells everywhere. So I chose
no border, and now have no border.
