Will this work?

Posted: 09-24-2006, 03:51 PM
Hi all,
I wish to dual-boot Vista RC1 and XP. I Currently am dual booting XP
and Fedora Core 5. I wish to remove Fedora and install Vista, keeping
XP intact. This is the procedure I have in mind:

first use the fixmbr to get rid of GRUB
use GParted to remove the Fedora partitions
reboot and make sure XP still works
go back to GParted and format the unused space for Vista as NTFS
back in XP use the DAEMON Tools to install to the new partition.

Will this work? Thanks for any advice.
Tim
