Win 95 Game Command & Conquer to run on XP?

Many thanks to the three people who replied to the
requests for information on running Win 95 games on the
XP platform. I am having problems with installing and
official Win 95 Command & Conquer. Whilst I have followed
the advice re setting up the compatibility changes and
also tried the inbuilt compatability Wizard the game
still fails to run. On screen in DOS which is where it
always loaded even when started via Windows the
message "can not find Setup.mix" is shown no matter what
I do and the setup fails Interestingly a demo I
downloaded from a games site works fine but only has
three levels so a little boring. All help would be most
appreciated.

Hi Roger if this is the originall C&C there is a patch on
the westwood website that i downloaded and installed onto
my PC and i have had no problems with running the program
since.
