Win messenger and MSN messnger taskbar icons

messenger 6.1 for my wife and configured them so that MMS
opens/runs automatically when she logs into her account
but WMS opens when i log in [i disable MMS 6 startup or
my account.
However, i seem to have lost the windows messenger icon
from my taskbar! It logs in and does all it is supposed
to in the background but unless i physically select it
from thstart menu i dont see the icon. how do i get it
back so that i can see the windows messeger service icon
on my user account?
when i unintall msn messenger the icon reappears!
