| Hi everyone, I am hoping someone could shed some light on why i cant see my desktop in vista everything works fine including all the boot up screens log on section and even safe mode but when i log into vista all i get it what i can describe as polygons on screen and no visible desktop... does anyone have any ideas as a fix for this... cheers P4 3.2 dual core Asus P5ND2-SLI ATI Radeon x1300 3gb DDR2 533mhz Ram | Guest

| Keywords: triangles, X1300, X1300PRO, ATI, Vista, grey, gray, preparing desktop, themes I have experienced the same problems too, and am glad to report the suggested fix (see below) worked for me too. Boot Into Safe Mode (scleary F8 - with networking) Run MsConfig Under Services tab - Disable Themes Reboot Installed BETA2 Drivers For My Video Card (Scleary: I used ATI web site) ReBoot Enable Themes Service ReBoot Tada...
