I have Win XP Pro SP1 and have recently added a second
hard disk. I partitioned this into 4 drives D, J, K and
L. I have 2 internal CD drives E and F and one external
H. On startup XP is assigning G as a duplicate drive to D
so I have two drives in My Computer for the same volume.
Disk Management shows G as the letter assigned to this
volume instead of D the one I originally selected. Disk
Management will not allow me to change G to D as D is no
longer available and I cannot remove D as it is not
listed. Is there a way to correct this confusion?
