windiff bug ?

When using windiff to compare 2 similar file

If suddenly one file has more line windiff tends to pickup much later than
supposed to.

Ex:

file1:
1.a
2.a
3.a
4.a
5.a
6.a
7.a

file2:
1.a
2.a
3.a
4.new
5.new
6.a
7.a
8.a
9.a

Normal behavior
file1 -file 2:
1.a
2.a
3.a
4.<!a
5.<!a
!>new
!>new
6.a
7.a

But if the new is like 200 line as if there would be a limit to the amount
of line inserted it start messing up

1.a
2.a
3.a
4.<!a
5.<!a
(6).->a
!>new (4)
!>new (5)
7.a

Is there a way to manually reposition like a pointer telling it
file1 line xx = file2 line xxxx ?

It does pick up after certain point and continues normally but there are
some sections were the process of reviewing the differences is painful...

tanks for the help
PS: if there is no pointer .. and it is a bug how can it be reported ?

windiff bug ?
