Windows 7 to test

and

Backup backup backup

On my machine, a clean install went ok if you can install it but not
if you want to install the AMD dual core processor.

On an upgrade, I got the BSOD 15 times. I could run in safe mode but
not in normal mode

He made no comment about Vista or posed a question. Hence, his post is
off topic. Now, had he compared it to Vista, that would be different.

Not true. He did mention an AMD cual core processor but I fail to see
where the OP mentioned Vista. For all we know he's upgrading from XP.

if one is installing from an amd processor machine- which is the one I want
to try it on, why won't it install?
BTW those who post in here about Windows 7, in my opinion it should be ok.
Most who are on Vista might be upgrading to Windows 7 when it is out of beta
and I am betting like myself would like to know how it upgrades from Vista
to Windows 7 and what processors it will or not work on.
Also maybe it is also time Microsoft set up a Windows 7 newsgroup
