Windows Calendar has stopped working?

Posted: 01-02-2007, 08:23 AM
I don't know if this is a coincidence, but since the new year I get a
dialog box saying "Windows Calendar has stopped working" every time
either of my PCs reboot. There is very different hardware on the PCs.

Build 6000 RTM

Anyone else got this?

This is now getting annoying, I missed a TV program I wanted to
record!

Has anyone got a solution, or a clue as to why it's happening?

I, too, am getting this message now.... this is VERY annoying... I think
something messed up after New Years eve.... can anyone tell me how to either
repair or disable the Calendar?

No suggestions then? I've just found "Problem Reports and Solutions"
in Control Panel, does any of this help?

I've been getting the exact same thing ever since adding an appointment to
the calendar.

Well I could never get it to notify me of an appointment, until the next
time I rebooted and then it would tell me by how long I had missed the
appointment.

Just another item in the increasing litany of broken MS (let alone other)
software due to Vista.

I installed Vista a week ago and get the same problem. I tried deleting the
calendar file and creating a new one but get the same problem - it's becoming
a pest now.
