Windows Defender in sleep mode

scan at 2am each morning. However, there is no record of a previous scan.
Does Windows Defender scan while in sleep mode or do I need to change the
start time?

No. Your computer would have to be ON. No processes or services will run instandby.
I sugest you change your can time.

Since this is a home computer not necessarily live at any particular time Iwill need to manually scan from time to time. Thank you
