Windows Explorer Will Not Show Videos On Still Camera....

Posted: 07-27-2005, 05:22 AM
I recently did a clean install of XP Pro with SP2. My Fuji E550 used to come
up as a removable drive. This was fine. Now the Camera wizrd comes up and
when you explore the camera it only shows pictures and not the videos that
are on the camera also. I cannot find any way to access and copy the videos
over. Any suggestions woudl be most helpful!

I don't know your camera so I am just guessing that your camera stores the
still pictures in one folder and the videos in another folder on your card.
Open My computer and you should see your camera listed there as a drive.
Double click on it to open it and you will see folders. Open them and your
videos should be in one of them.

It's a Fuji E550. the videos are stored in with the photos. Windows is
treating the camera as a camera not a drive. It seems to be filtering what
files it shows now. I cannot browse the entire card. Usually there is a the
root then a directory where the pictures and videos are. It won't show that.
It's trying to make it easier but it's hiding things I need access to.
