Windows File Protection - WMI Redistributable Components

Dear All,

Server OS - Wndows 2000 SP4

I am currently monitoring the server with WMI tool and with this error, the
winmgmt.exe uses cpu upto 99% power.

I am trying to install the WMI Redistributable Components version 1.0 from
the following location
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

But it gives me error for Windows File Protection with Event ID: 64002 and
Description : File replacement was attempted on the protected system file
c:\winnt\system32\wbem\winmgmt.exe. This file was restored to the original
version to maintain system stability. The file version of the system file is
1.50.1085.100.

I have tried the following combination :

a) Install and uninstall, install and reinstall.
2) install, reboot, uninstall and reinstall.
3) install, uninstall, reboot and reinstall.

Need a solution for proper installation and normal cpu usage for this problem.
