| I have googled my brains out and I can't find the answer. I have zipped files that contain javascript files. The extension is .js. Windows Vista will extract all the files but the .js because it says windows found that this file is potentially harmful. The zipped file is on my desktop, not still in email, not in messenger. Defender is disabled. Windows firewall is disabled. I'm running Norton 360. I can't get my job done without this file and I don't know what to do. | Guest

| Try right-clicking of the .zip file, and choose Properties. On the General tab, click on the Unblock button, and then Apply and OK. Then extract the files. "Tina" <Tina@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:1F4E32E7-2556-40EB-B727-F593F6B288B4@microsoft.com... Quote:

| Before I got your message I found something about taking ownership of the file. So I clicked on the properties of it and changed ownership to my account (even though my account is the admin account) and it allowed me to extract it. Thanks for the help. I'll try that also in the future. "dean-dean" wrote: Quote:
