Windows freezes after hours of inactivity?

Hi,...When I leave my computer on and logoff when I go to work, when I come
back and logon, its like it froze up?...It never did this before, I just
recently reformated and installed xp again but was having problems getting
the correct ati video drivers installed, could this be the problem
still?...any idea's?....Im not using the welcome screen...thanks rick

It could be drivers, but from your description I'd check whether your
computer is overheating. Open the case and observe what is going on.
You didn't say which ATI card you have, but if it is a late-model one
with a fan, I'd check the fan on it, too. Also, look in your Event
Viewer (from the Adminstrative Tools applet in Control Panel) for
clues.
