Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) Service Not working

Hi David,

While in services.msc what is the service set to? Automatic, Manual,
Disabled?

In the meantime, go to Start/Run/Regedit, navigate to this key and set
accordingly:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\stisvc
"Start"=dword:00000004
