Windows language change

Posted: 12-02-2003, 04:03 PM
Hi,

I bought a new laptop recently in Germany which came with
the German Windows XP. Since I have worked my whole life
with the english versions of windows my question now is,
is it possible to change the german windows xp into an
english one? And if yes, how? Cause this german xp is
just damn annoying. =)
Thanx for your help.

Meik;
You can not change the language of Windows.
You need to buy a full version of Windows in the desired language and
perform a Clean Installation.

Damn, was hoping that there is some upgrade u can install
over the german version. Microsoft should have thought
better about that one. I wouldnt mind paying a small fee
to download such an upgrade over the internet, but buying
an english version of xp just to change the language is a
bit of a waste of money if u ask me. =)
Cheers for ur help anyway.
