Windows Live and Virus

Was using MS Virus software etc and all a sudden its gone and live shows
status as at risk ( red ). Now either I did something at my end or there is
something wrong with the software. When i click on get help it goes to help
ive web page but i shows the following message "A problem occurred. Please
try again"
