Windows Live Needs help?

Read, and discuss. Try to keep the anger on the backburner.

Makes sense to me, Microsoft is basically trying to expand their XBox
experience to Windows in hopes that everyone will drop all the free
offerings that PC gamers are used to using like voice chat through Skype,
Ventrillo, Teamspeak, etc. Text IMing through AIM, Yahoo, etc. in favor of
an all in one solution for the bargan price of $50/month.

Good idea, but where are all the third party games that are going to support
this new experience?

Don't forget to check out the 1up podcast with Tim Sweeny from Epic Games.

You made a slight typo, it's $50 a year not $50 a month. While I don't have
any plans to go to Xbox live, as the features don't attract me at all. For
most people with a somewhat steady job, $50 isn't that bad for a year
subscription, it's cheaper than what most people are paying to play World of
Warcraft
