Windows Logon Error

Posted: 08-11-2003, 05:37 PM
I have some users that get an error when trying to logon
on to our Active Directory and I hope some one can help
by telling me why. The error is as follows: "Windows
cannot log you on because your profile cannot be loaded.
Check that you are connected to the network, or that your
network is functioning correctly. If this problem
persists, contact your network administrator." I am able
to get around this error by deleting the users profile
and having them log back in and Windows creates a new
profile, but I would like to fix this instead of doing a
work around. Any ideas????
Thank you

Hi there
Do you have a roaming profile on your system? Which
operating system do you use for your clients?
May be the profiles aren't reachable!

No roaming profiles, the profiles are local. Windows XP
Pro.
