Just to add to that Andre, I only subscribe to two newsgroups. I set the
"Refresh" icon in the toolbar for both groups, checked to assure they
worked, then exited 'windows mail'. Opening "windows mail" showed one group
had lost the refresh icon. I played with that and determined that whichever
newsgroup is active when exiting the reader will loose it's tool icon. the
other group retained the icon. But when I made that group active and exited,
the icon was gone when I returned to the group. FWIW
