Windows Media Player 11 not connecting to 360

I have Vista Home Premium and WMP 11

I am trying to connect my 360 to my PC so i can share my songs. I was able
to connect Media Center but not Media player. When i click on the library tab
to get to Media sharing it is not there, and when i go under more options to
find media sharing, it is faded out. Anyone know what to do?
