Windows Media Player 9 / CD Recording Software

Hy people

First Problem:
About a month ago I installed Windows Media Player 9.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work properly. If I want to
listen to a radiostation through the internet, WMP 9 is
unable to get a connection. Does anybody know how to solve
this problem?

Second Problem.
As soon as I've started Windows XP there's a message which
tells me that the "CD Recording Software" Driver gets
deactivated. Otherwise Windows XP wouldn't work properly!
Has anyone a solution for that question?
