Windows Media player 9 start up glitch

Posted: 11-02-2003, 11:34 AM
Hi,
My Windows Media Series 9 Player has just started this minor annoyance. It
plays fine, but if I change to another CD, it still shows I have the old CD
in the drive. It seems it doesn't access the current CD with new information
and will keep the old data in the window, though it plays the new CD. After
I used to put any item in the DVD/CD drives, I used to be prompted with a
menu asking which application I wanted to use, but that disappeared at the
same time as this other problem started. Anyone have any clues? Cheers, John
