Windows Media Player Audio/video playback Problem

hi all

i seem to have a problem when playing audio/video on my syste

everytime i play audio/video the system reboots it self ...the screen goes black and the monitor goes on standby mode ... the only way to get back to the desktop is the turn the power off at the mains and restar

as you can imagine its driving me mad

Help me Please!!!

if you are overclocking your viseo card it can happen as I learned the hardway... if not try to get the appropriet codecs for the video or audio.... or if all else fails just reinstall wmp or you can try the new winamp

i have done this ive formatted several times as well

the event log says the user has manually shut the system down via CTRL + ALT + DE

so im at a lost at what it could be
