windows media player - jumpy video

Posted: 12-19-2003, 08:19 PM
Hi. I have the latest version of media player on two
seperate computers. When I play the video file on one
computer it's nice and smooth. When I copied that file
onto cd, and then transferred that file onto the hard
disk of my other computer, the movie is jumpy every 2-3
seconds. The resolution is all there, and the sound is
all there. There is just an occasional pause in the
frame, before it continues playing again. Is there a
place where I can set the playback buffer? Or is this a
different issue? Any help would be appreciated.
