Windows Meeting Space

I have a feeling the answer is going to be 'no', but I am going to ask
anyway. Is there anyway to connect an XP machine to Vista's Windows Meeting
Space? Perhaps using the old NetMeeting?

I'm running Vista Home Premium 64 bit and I decided to try the Meeting Space
feature. But there is no icon for it in start (or programs). Please help.

Thanks

Since Net-meeting is not available in Vista, can a Vista user carry out
meeting with a XP user running netmeeting?

No...Not with Meeting Space. They are not mutually compatible...

Ahh.... but continue the conversation/question/answer!!!! ..... What does
one need to do to be able to benefit from the nice Screen Sharing feature of
NetMeeting when one is on Vista and the other is on XP?

I don't get it!!! Did Microsoft drop the ball on providing an easy way
(i.e. free) to support someone on the XP platform when you are on Vista!!
Screen(Desktop)/Application sharing is all I am needing.

Help please..

Apologies if this is the wrong group, feel free to suggest a more suitable
one but none of the groups seem to deal with meeting space.

I am trying to configure meeting space on Vista business on a 2003 domain so
that non-admins can run it. I have configured the firewall settings by group
policy and they show up in the firewall as enabled. I have also set the WMI
namespace security to allow authenticated user. With a non-admin account I
still get asked if I want to configure meeting space. The issues seems to be
with the local firewall rules that are available for meeting space, if I
enable them everything works but you need an admin account to enable the
firewall rules.

When I created the firewall settings gpo I only changed the ip address
settings to match our network rather than use the default settings. I
haven't tried SP1 yet.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks
Andrew

Happily using Vista at home for over 6 months.

Does this program work outside of a LAN?

I tried to e-mail a friend so we could share some files and discuss them but
he couldn't see the invite.

Also does this program allow any type of video conferencing?

Can anyone help me? I think this program has great potential.

Thanks.
