Windows Messenger Web Site

What happened to the Windows Messenger web site? I get
MSN Messenger instead each time I try to go there. Is
this Microsoft's way of telling us to start using MSN
Messenger instead of Windows Messenger?

Greetings Clyde,

No -- http://messenger.msn.com belongs to MSN, which create MSN Messenger. With the release
of MSN Messenger 6, Windows Messenger was removed from nearly all references from the
website. You can still find Windows Messenger here:
http://g.msn.com/5meen_us/121?plcid=0409
