Windows Mobile Device Centre

Plugging in my PDA starts up Windows Mobile Device Centre which looks
like a partial replacement for ActiveSync.

Does anyone know how feature complete this is as it doesn't appear to
do much at the moment eg. I can't see any options to sync with Outlook
2003 mail, calendar etc.

Is there any software required for the PDA (running Windows Mobile 5)

Cary.

I believe this will be fixed and feature complete by the time it gets to
April CTP/Beta 2 - until then you're best off using ActiveSync 4.0 as I am

Is what I've seen too!

So you guys are getting around it by installing AS4.1?

I tried installing 4.1, but Vista won't let it run. Will 4.0 work?
