| my son recently passed away and I need to access his computer to delete all his work as my other son is having it as it is only 8 weeks old it is windows vista.I am not that up on computers as my son was in the middle of teaching me so any info will have to be easy to understand any help will be gratefully received. | Guest

| Here is the situation: Mother got daughter laptop Mother put in her name/password (presumably) upon initial boot Laptop turned on/off (cold) several times with no problems Daughter changes the name -does nothing with password Now upon startup she is asked for a password (never happened before) and the password that her mother initially used is not working. Machine is asking for a password for the daughter's name not mothers help -- Will | Guest
