windows update error "new info on this"

Hey for anyone else that encounters what I did with the
windows update error.

I discovered a trojan ..this is an old one from 2001 that
was going around "JS/IEstart.gen.d". It compromised
your start up page if IE.... but this time it seemed
to "attacked" a windows update file. When my virus
software found it and deleted it ... windows update would
no longer work. So far I have only found one mention of
it being reported ...(not at norton or Mcafee) Sophos
reported one incident and that their dat files for march
would include it.

Warning .. I got this simply by visiting a website ...
and I was searching troubleshooting things when it
happened. So this is obviously another vunerability that
hasnt been found yet. Will post again if I find out if
what exploit it is ..if I missed an update . Or if
anyone else has heard of it .. please email me
