Windows Visa

Posted: 09-13-2006, 06:56 PM
Hi foaks

Can't wait to download RC1. but unfortunately I can't use the download
manager. It disconnects as a Network error, This happens only via the
manager. I can download without it just fine.. So, server can't be busy.
The only thing I'm concerned about is the connection breaking (Which did
happen, otherwise you wouldn't be reading this) . I tried disabling
personal firewall.. Still no luck ....

I have a "Visa" card. And it takes a "visa" to enter the EU (in more
ways than one.).

I also have Microsoft Windows "Vista" Release Candidate 1.

I disabled my tredmicro firewall and at least it started to download. I will
post after the 7 hours (slow).

Glad you clarified that that wasn't a typo (VISA -vs- VISTA)... I was
beginning to wonder if Microsoft was getting into the banking business.

Context will always clarify the English language, if one knows English
well enough.

I assure you, sir, if I were to insult you, you would definitely know
it.

However, please forgive me if I gave such an impression. I certainly
did not mean my remarks to be an insult. I was simply commenting on
the ease of understanding a language once one learns it well.

Keep in mind that many who read this ng do not have English as their primary
language.

Thank you, Colin, for reminding me of that fact. I tend to forget
there are others on the Web beside Anglo-Americans, much to my shame.
