Windows XP auto submitting wrong logon credentials to shares

for mapped drives upon login?
I have a PC in 1 NT authentication domain running Windows XP.
I have servers sitting in a separate authentication domain.
My username is both domains is the same, but the password, and
obviously domain, are differnt.
I login to my XP desktop which is a member of the first domain using
my domain credentials. I had previously mapped several drives on the
second domain with credentials valid for that domain. Upon login
Windows XP appears to attempt to reconnect to those shares. However,
Windows XP appears to submit hashes based upon the wrong domain (and
password). This results in my account in the second domain getting
User A has computer A in NT Authentication Domain A. He logins into
Computer A using his UsernameA and Password(a) from NT authentication
Domain A. He then maps a drive to a server in NT Authentication
Domain B using login credentials UsernameB, PasswordB, DomainB. Upon
logging off from Computer A and then Login back into ComputerA using
NT Domain A's credentials, Windows XP submits credentials for DomainB
but with an incorrect password implied (UsernameB, PasswordA, DomainB)
where UsernameA=UsernameB but PasswordA<>PasswordB and DomainA <>
DomainB resulting in lockout of AccountB in DomainB.
Blah, if you followed all that, well, you must not be wearing your
