Windows XP Doesn't 'See' Compact Flash Card

Posted: 10-06-2004, 11:00 AM
I'm running Windows XP SP2. I have a SIIG USB2 Memory
Card Reader / Writer that I am trying to use to read my
digital photo cards. The system recognizes the
reader /writer when I plug it in and labels it as a
removable drive. However, it does not recognize the card
when I slide it in the reader. When I click on the
removable drive letter for the reader, it tells me to
insert a disk in the drive though the card is in place.

I have updated my ABIT motherboard BIOS to the latest
version. Any ideas?

Thanks
