Windows XP Patch: Devices May Not Power Up Properly When Resuming From Standby

I have a problem with my sound after I leave my computer
for a few hours... I found a Windows Patch that addresses
my problem exactly...

however, when i go to download it I get a message
basically telling me that I have a more recent version of
service pack installed then the item I want to install.
