Default windows xp registration

We just purchased Windows XP Proh and have two computers
in our household. Can we install the same CD on both of
them and register it twice? Is this a copyright violation?

Lena;
One license, one computer.
The way it has always been with all Microsoft consumer operating
systems.
If you want Windows XP on the second computer, you need to buy a
second copy.

Lynn;
It says "1-2 CPU" NOT "1-2 Computers".
That means the computer can have either 1 or 2 CPUs, but it is still
one computer.

Default Windows XP Registration

I would like to know how to check and see if Windows XP is
registered with Microsoft. I have a new computer and I
don't remember registering the software.

Microsoft Registration: Start > Run and type: REGWIZ /R ,
and hit enter.
