Windows XP upgrade from Win 98 HD problem

I have upgraded from Windows 98 to XP and have an 80 gig
Western Digital HD but it only allows me to partition
about 30 gigs of the HD anyone know how tio fix this. I
have a K7251 pro MB and AMD athlon xp 2400 processer. The
MB and processer are new upgrades, the HD is an older
upgrade/replacement that was installed on an older MB
(can't remember type atm). Any ideas would be helpful
just don't say reinstall everything plz.
