Windows XP vs Sound Blaster AudioPCI 128D Driver

I recently upgraded my Gateway Select 700 PC to Windows
XP home edition. For some reason I have to re-install the
driver for Sound Blaster AudioPCI 128D repeatedly.

Anybody have ideas on why this might be happening?

I've also noticed that the "quality" or "timbre" of music
synthesis changes. I use this for playback with the
music writing program "Finale" by CODA.

You need to check with Creative for updated drivers for your card and/or to
see if they are supporting your card in XP.
